Yes you are right. When I saw those trees lit like that I just stood still for about ten minutes and watched the sun do its work. My dog looked at me like I'd gone mad. :)

We have Jackdaws and Magpies in the garden. I like to watch the way the Jackdaws appear to respect the Maggies. The local cats so often the butt of the Magpies' jokes.

I have an iPhone but I don't use it for posting or editing. 

Microsoft in their wisdom downloaded four updates yesterday which my poor (getting tired) laptop struggled to install. Maybe something's gone squiffy.
