* I write songs and poems with mainly science fiction and fantasy themes which I illustrate with paintings, although other subjects inspire me along the way. Some of the poems are set to music as I am a singer-songwriter who has done shows at several sci-fi conventions in the past.
* I had two poems in the top ten shortlist for Sussex Poet of the Year run by Downland Poets the last time they had that competition; also I won the Oxfam songwriting contest before that. I sometimes get poetry in local publications, and to date have had four published in anthologies by United Press.
* I suppose my main style influences are William Blake, Hope-Hodgson, Gerard Manley Hopkins & Arthur Clarke.
* As for subjects, well I love Astronomy, Science, Mythology, Ancient History and metaphysical mysteries like the Oahspe Bible. That's why I like my poetry to be timeless.
* I've been all round Cape Canaveral - on a privileged tour I won in a prose-writing competition a few years ago.
* Just need to put it all in a Time-Capsule now ........
