Help - Anyone with Amazon Kindle Experience?
Posted by Shannan on Thu, 03 Apr 2025
Help. I realise this is unprofessional - ABCTALES, delete if you must - but I have been locked out of my Amazon Kindle Publishing Account for over 6 months, and I cannot get in or make contact with anyone at Amazon, all I receive is:
"We have detected unusual activity on your account and have locked it temporarily. Please contact customer service for further assistance."
"Temporarily" has been months and months and months.
I have tried every email avenue to email, to Google Searches and Hundreds of Rands wasting my time on their International Customer "Care" Line, where I have queued longer than for SARS.
I have checked question sites and no-one can offer assistance.
Is there anyone in the world - ABCtales spans the Globe - who can help me with the most infuriating experience I have ever had?
Amazon have sent me EFT notices, requests for updating my tax, and have completely locked me out of the account ... and if you can't log in, you can't email customer services... I can't call customer services because I am left on hold, being charged in Rands for every second...
I have changed passwords, I have sent documents for two-point verification and all to no avail at all.
The time I have wasted has really been beyond unacceptable on all this!
All help and avenues appreciated PLEASE.

sorry, no idea. Amazon use less and less workers and more and more bots. You seem to be caught in bot hell.
