I've an idea That's holding onto my hair Curling inside my ear Even though you're not here It feels like you're near The scent on a pillow The way you left something folded Like a story not told yet

A Limerick to Dick

There once was a young man called Dick Whose reflexes were incredibly quick One day he arose So fast that his nose Immediately began to swell In surprise and glee he did shout Just look at the size of my snout

A nest lullaby

May sleep wash over From crown to heel The frequency of dreams To anneal And arise Refreshed From your nest

A speck

A speck of dust Tumbling in the light Not unlike A nocturnal thought In ethereal fashion The untangiable seed First clasped tightly Then loosening Spiralling Unfolding magnificently Nightmarishly

An island

A death of dreams A dearth of dreams There is no difference it seems One dies It will become the mother to its' brother Or another familial mechanism Around they go Underground they go And it seems they know their own direction
