Up at night

Time turns with agony an agitant in the wound. Love's sweet spell broken, belligerent and cruel. "Time heals all" say the old and unwise who have never lived with the pain cast by Cyprus' die.

He loved her. She loved him. He afforded her everything. She gave him everything she could afford. He was a man of title. She lacked a said title. He lavished her with jewels. She placed them all in a box.

Serenity, calling.
