I loved this.
Favourite Mcmanaman poem to date.

Few typos that need sorting.
I so guilty of doing them myself that I never feel able to tell anyone else but there you go.

What you lot think?

Exactly how tall is 183 cm? Enjoyed this as well - the way he would change his mind for various reasons. Crit - this seems overused: When the parcel from the agency arrived he opened it like a toddler on Christmas morning. Otherwise, except for the already mentioned typos, great poem. foster.
thanks span and foster. 183 cm is my height, as well as footballer Steve Staunton's. It's about 6 foot. mcmanaman
I'm going to continue in my sniffy vein today and say "Standard mcmanaman fair." The voice is as deft and quirky as ever, but I'm looking forward to the longer project that's in the works.
I'm fond of the postage stamp licking bit. That's just icky enough for me. And the ending is pregnant and actually quite touching.

"I have a room for life at the Home for the Chronically Groovy."

I agree the ending is touching somehow. I however disagree with you Mr Cade, I hold stead fast... I personally think this is some sort of sneaky development in way of content and approach, and as such is my favourite as yet. Span
I loved this poem. It seems to display the extent of man's vulnerability even at a keyboard! My webpage is at: http://www.bookscape.co.uk
You'll smile at me dear friends - my English is so poor that I really thought it was a short story (not a poem). Anyways I like it (I've even sent e-mail to the author) -Boris (real Russian from Russia)
