Flash: "Awwww, silly Peps. You should have bowed out gracefully and early, perhaps an apology and retraction might have been the gentlemanly thing to do.
Ah! But no , you've developed AG syndrome, bit too fond of your own voice."
Bowed out gracefully?
Apology?
Retraction?
Gentlemanly?
Never!
Silly?
Absolutely!

Actually, I'm *not* fond of the sound of my own voice. I wish it were huskier and deeper, like, oh, Demi Moore or something. I sound terrible on the answermachine, like Minnie Mouse with a headcold..
For me, the rules of wine are simple:
1. Drink what you like,
2. At whatever temperature you like,
3. With whatever food you like.
This allows me to drink a chilled red with pasta - I never listen to those cork dorks who say you must drink this wine with this food, though some pairings have good reasons.

I do enjoy a drop of Brown Ale... chilled to a coupla degrees above freezing point. Perfect accompaniment to salmon, rice and crunchy vegetables.
... and Demi Moore is quite possibly the epitomy of womanhood.
I wouldn't bother what that tick-tock tea sachet, it's bleedin' awful. It tastes like paper. Fish 'n' chips on the prom, sore eyes, wind-blown hair. Best accompaniment (gawd, tick-took me ages to spell that right...ended up copying mickleberry's) to a belly full of ale is salty chips eaten straight from the paper, on the way home. Open or wrapped? Wrapped. You must open your chips, it's delightful when the heat and the aroma burst fourth upon thy brow. Yes, you have to sniff 'em when unwrapping; really let that vinegar cleanse the senses. Get your nose in there lad. I'm sure it was devon where I couldn't get me hands on a babbies head 'n' chips flortin.
