Colour prejudice - shocking findings

A 17-year-old film-maker repeated an experiment first conducted in the 1950s.

The result is chilling.

It seems colour prejudice is more deeply ingrained that most people would care to imagine. (Ignore the opening ad)

I came across this via Reddit.com.

Can't watch the vid yet, as at work, but I think what all this BB hoo-har highlights is the prevalence of unconscious racism (and other -isms). One can't underestimate the extent to which one's culture, upbringing, etc, get under one's skin (no pun intended). I think it's important for all of us to be a lot more mindful of the reasons behind our "innate" aversion, distrust or merely dislike or people of a particular race, culture, class, religion, sex or even with a particular hair colour or who dresses a particular way... It's not always a good idea to trust our instincts! pe ps oid ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com)
