The Apprentice

Did you get it into it this year?

Would you with Katie Hopkins?

Did Sugar choose Ambrose from fear of accusations of inverted snobbery?

Tre and Rory: best personality clash ever? Shame Rory got sussed so early...

I've vowed not to watch reality TV but this one is an exception. It's fascinating, highly entertaining, and there's not a whiff of rip off texts and phone-ins.

Yeah it's a great show. I loved Tre, and I don't just mean for entertainment value. The guy was right more often than not and won far more tasks than he lost. He was also the voice of practical reasoning while some of the others were off suggesting it might be time for "ideation". Out of the final two, I'd have given it to Kristina (think that's how she spells it?). From what we saw of the presentation, hers was assured and confident. Simon had the look of a deer in headlights, bless him. Either way, it's sad to see another excellent season end.
It's wonderful stuff. I think this series moved more in the direction of the American version - which is extremely entertaining but is ultimately a soap with little or nothing to do with business, beyond the fact that it itself is a very successful franchise. Katie was a perfect comedy villain. I'm looking forward to the new Peter Jones show, Tycoon. That's starting on ITV on Tuesday. An almost seemless transition.

I'd do Christina but only cos I feel left out. She looks like most blokes already have.

You wouldn't be able to get near her with that huge conk she's got. God if I had the money she has I'd be straight down to Harley Street and have most of it removed. She's surely be a half a stone lighter.

Sorry I meant She'd. It's the trembles.

What I don't get about the apprentice is, since when was Alan Sugar so damn clever? Have Amstrad made anything remotely successful since the squarial?

"I have a Patent Pending on Goole so don't try to steel me idea!!" Is the clue in the spelling? Is it cutlery based?
yeah - it turns out he didn't even invent the squarial after all. Shows what I know.

So the comedian Boothby Graffoe named himself after a Yorkshire town? I'm so gullible ; genuinely thought it was his real name. http://naptime500.blogspot.com(link is external)
