hmm...this is my take on what I've read/thought about (when I think). Over the past couple of years I've come to believe that God is merely an archetype/symbol of mans' will to power. HE is, if you will, the ultimate - far-reaching, gleaming prize in the eyes of mankind. HE does exist...as they say...in all of us...but not as we know it ;)
So yes! God is a scientist as much as HE is also a muon. :D

Is this (a bit) like the thoughts raised in "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", where robotic simulations are so lifelike that it's impossible to definitively say what is or isn't a human? Only a bit.
Another interesting question might be: is the scientist, Richard Dawkins, God?
Is it possible that God has come to earth in the form of Richard Dawkins to test us?
This would be the ultimate test for the faithful. To challenge them with highly reasoned and seemingly bulletproof arguments against the existence of God, presented by God Himself.
That might explain why the arguments Dawkins put forward are so powerful and impossibly hard to counter. For heaven's sake he even looks Godlike.
Indeed it is possible to argue that the more effectively Dawkins disproves the existence of God, the more effectively he proves this theory and therefore the more effectively he proves God's existence.
You have to admit this isn't as crazy as it sounds.
'Indeed it is possible to argue that the more effectively Dawkins disproves the existence of God, the more effectively he proves this theory and therefore the more effectively he proves God's existence'
Hamm. Assuming Dawkins is God?
The flip side to that coin is that God talks him self out of existence by disproving his own logic...
An interesting idea brooosh...
