Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (greatest musical ever)

I've recently watched this 43 minute long musical and never before have I enjoyed a musical film so much. It's an absolutely hilarious, beautiful film with the best lyrics I've ever heard in a music film.

Anyone else had the chance to see this? (stars Neil patrick harris....yes, Neil Patrick Harris, and Nathan Fillion)

From Joss Whedon, creator of Firefly and film Serenity.

It was made specifically for the net during the writer's strike which makes me wonder just how long until internet created work becomes a major player in the entertainment industry.

the entire film is available of HULU and Youtube.

Hey Mike, only just got around to this as it didn't sound like my cup of tea. However I liked both Firefly and Serenity - although I felt the latter was just good when it could have been great. I love musicals and I love to laugh so I'm off in search of a copy. Thanks for telling us all about it!
It's pretty fantastic, especially Nathan Fillion. If only Joss Whedon was in charge of every tv show and there was some kind of legislation brought in outlawing non-musical dialogue.
Yeah, and any ABBA songs have to be sung by ABBA, or at least people who can sing :O)
Yes. And not Pierce Brosnan. Dear God...not Pierce Brosnan...

Give me the beat boys and free my soul! I wanna getta lost in ya rock n' roll and drift away. Drift away...

I saw that one awhile ago... Yeah, I watched the whole thing, which is pretty amazing by itself. I can't remember much about the music anymore, but I still remember that I liked the girl!

There's nothing to touch South Pacific. Except for West Side Story.
I don't know, I have always had a sneaking affection for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers...
I put Showboat, My Fair Lady and Oklahoma in that category - but none of them live up to South Pacific or West Side Story in my humble opinion.
Carmen Jones wasn't bad.
Singin' in the Rain? Classic. but, I must still say, I enjoyed Dr. Horrible more than any of them.
