there's a cartoon in the big issue i just dont get! HELP PLEASE.
somebody please explain the joke to me from the recent big issue. the cartoon about 'schindlers chicken'. i HAVE got sense of humour but this has me baffled.
i will attempt a description of it in case you havent seen it and would like to help.
chickens queueing outside a cinema thats showing the film 'schindlers chicken' - and another chicken working behind the counter.
please help - its next to the sudoku - and its doing my bloody head in.
Is it something to do with (Spielberg's) Dreamworks being sued for stealing the story to Chicken Run by a children's author?
thanks fb74. its an idea . i'll have a good think about it. some joke this!

re: The big issue,London of which I
have bought few years now, and

after a film etc;
But our groups and me been in for writing
and poems,sketches great film page etc; and also says top page Abctales.com of which our Editor t.cook AbcTales.com and advise and good help was once. Host of The Big Issue. Sketchest ,films so improved people's life stories paintings
all so interesting something for all,in the big issue, homeless and receipes, ideas, answers back page.The talent they really have and to keep it up
over years,what you could do is phone The big issue
up and ask or write to them. The centre closed while
shame from 16-80 age, learn't and did so much. Filmed, cd books,hosts all given plastic oscars and certificates no matter ages whatever could do or try,dance sing,poetry,sketch, instrumental,act. then I found Abctales.Absolutely great and help, ideas, love reading others mainly.

thanx for trying to help. i have emailed the big issue letters page. no reply.
Is any joke worth all this Alice, or has it just got under your skin? Surely the very obscurity of it means that if a pun was intended it's completely lost by now - a bit like explaining to the kids at school why shakespeare is funny after the joke's been told. You've probably checked, but don't the cartoons usually relate to an article or story in the issue itself? Hope you find your answer. :-)
