Myth screenplay

Is there anyone out there with an artistic bent and found the screenplay on my pages interesting consider sketching the scenes or even storyboarding them perhaps with a view toward approaching a publisher of 'mature' comics.

Maudsy

Do you know what Maudsey , I would love to have a go at this activity, but I have to be realistic and at the moment I simply could not commit the necessary time to do the job justice. I feel sure that there will be someone out there who will oblige though. Best of luck with what sound like a fascinating project.

Something I wrote a while back received one or two comments suggesting it as a good basis for a graphic novel or something like that. I looked at a few artists websites in an exploratory sort of way, set up an account or two, made some approaches but got nowhere. I've really no idea how this sort of thing works but I've been wondering since whether at some point it might be worth ABCtales thinking about as a spin-off (i.e. some means through which would-be writers and would-be artists could be put in touch with each other). But I'm not at all sure what the demand would be.

It's something I wanted to try as I cannot sell this to save my life. The problem is it came to me in a series of fragmented images and over a year gradually coalesced into a visual narrative. Only then did I try and write a script. The dialogue has been redrafted about two dozen times and I occassionally dip in to try and improve again. However I just wonder if it is a saleable commodity without finding someway of putting the images on a canvas of some sort. The irony is I never set out to write or even create the damn thing. It seemed to find me. Well hey ho

One of my daughters is a little bit artistic and agreed to illustrate my masterpieces. The problem was that our imaginations didn't mesh and after a couple of attempts she gave up. Rather like me and my approaches to publishers. Later on I met a real artist at creative writing class. Unfortunately to my mind she was far too modern in her approach and didn't want to do books anyway! C'est la vie!
