SAVE FOOTSIE FUND

I'm breaking my own rule (again) to not get involved in forums, but this is special.

I don't know Paul's address (YET!) but I do have the address of Tony Cook's company.

If I can't find any other way, this evening I'll make a donation to Tony's address. I am sure he'll be good enough to pass it onto Footsie.

If anybody else wants Tony's address to make a donation. E-mail me (Bexley) via the ABC site.

I'm kind of hoping somebody in ABC admin will post an address/account number we can donate to. If not I'm doing it this way.

I just completed my donation- you can add a message-look carefully and mark it Save Footsie Fund. Let's get loads of donations Folks- Please- perhaps we can save his house after all- Come on Folks- £1-£2 anything.

Good idea Pia. I'm sure Tony will sent any monies to Paul. I can't use Pay-Pal from Belgium -- don't know why, so I'll send a cheque either to Tony or direct to Paul if he lets me know his address. I guess anybody who can use Paypal can do like Pia, but make it quick please we only have 11 days!

Hi Bear, that's great! If Tony can supply an address, bank account number, sort code, IBAN number and BIC code that would be great. Meanwhile I have sent Tony's business address to Pia because I have to go out in a short while for a few hours. The best thing would be to have Paul's address, but so far I haven't heard from him. I hope he will e-mail it to me and Pia.

I emailed Tony during the night to seek his permission to use the donation Paypal button as it seems to me the best way for the majority to pay in to Footsie's Fund. As I understand it as long as the Paypal account is marked Footsie's account I'm not sure of this but I think there would be no confusion between ABC donations and Footsie's Fund. As yet I haven't heard back from Tony but in the meantime I too will use the Paypal button as the worst that can happen is that I make a donation to ABC Moya

I think it's best to use Paypal, or 'better still' wait until we hear from Tony Cook. Tony will organise a way to help. I am sure of that. Personal cheques will be taken directly by his bank and he'll lose the money. Thanks everybody for responding to my thread. Cheers Bex

Moya, Tony is aware of what is happening. I believe he will have something to say about thing on Monday as he's away for the weekend. I, along with quite a few others, have sent money in the hope it gets to help Paul. I think for those waiting to hear from Tony, that's also good. I'm sure he'll organise something asap. Me? I'm too impatient I guess.

This is all news to me. I did not realise that Footsie was in trouble. Did I miss an earlier post? I will gladly donate, but like others, will wait for Tony's advice how to do so.
