jazzyb, for ten years old, not bad
Just finished jazzyb's "There Came a Day" not bad for a ten year old. this girl's got potential.
Even better - get the nippers to go to youngABCtales.com which is designed specifically for kids writing. It's just off the blocks and doing reasonably well - so encourage all those children all over the world to get reading and writing on there. Shared experience at that age is truly empowering.
Ten? She could've fooled me.
i checked her bio, it states she's a primary student. how much truth is in that, i don't know, but who would do that just to get recognition? maybe anybody, but i think she's for real, there's just enough "child-like quality" for it not to be on the up.
I agree with Angela re the child-like quality. It's nice.
Maybe mum helped a bit?
It's hard to resist when you're a parent...y'know, the spelling, etc?
true. she only has one poem, so maybe a little too soon to make a call. some people are naturals. let's hide and watch.
I have 2 girls, and I agree, sometimes it is hard to go behind them. One of my girls is 12, and she writes pretty good, so maybe I'll get her to join here.
sorry 'bout the misprint. meant it to say sometimes it's hard NOT to go behind them.
