Not having been on the site in a while, I've been re-reading lots of Stevo's stuff. July, Dusk is as delicately written as so much of his work. It pleased me especially because you get the exciting sense of someone who really loves words - and, more, knows exactly how to play with them.

'a strawberry burning in cream' i agree with you gem, this is a writer in love with words, I also love the image of the hill path like vertebrae. reading it i could almost smell the summer evening - can't wait for summer! Juliet

http://www.abctales.com/user/44299 Stunning poetry, I have just spent a wonderful half hour reading stevo's poems, each one is excellent. My particular favourite is Forensics. I recommend that anyone looking for a good read has a perusal through his work. Thanks Jem for pointing him out, you made a very dull day a hell of a lot more interesting.
I like stevos poems, never read them before this thread. Icicles is my favourite, very clever line breaks and real clear, original images. I like.
Quality! The ballroom of your lungs. From Forensics. Stevo is ace. Good flag, Jem. Joe
