I mean thast useless twat Ian Blair. The most senior and most hopeless copper in the land.

He's now calling for a mandatory prison sentance just for carrying a knife. It's idiots like him that jump on every bandwagon and talk their reactionary crap that help to cause the problems in the first place.

There is no way carrying a knife can either be enforceable or will reduce stabbings. As we all know, knives are readily available everywhere from your local Asda to a transport cafe.

I have been carrying a Swiss army knife for decades, and will continue to do so. It opens my mail, cleans my finger nails, strips wires and performs countless other tasks. Oh yes, I almost forgot, I use it to slit the throats of OAP's and slash phone lines to enable me to burgle homes without fear of the owner phoning the police. Shit! I forgot about mobiles. I'll either have to give up burglary or kill the house owners first.

What would really help reduce crime is better education, more opportunities for social equality, and police on the street countering crime at local levels instead of hiding behind hedges with speed cameras to raise cash from unsuspecting drivers.

I'd also advocate mandatory and instant deportation of all illegal immigrants and foreign nationals involved in crime.
