Scriptfrenzy
Thought I'd give this a flag as it begins today. It's basically like nanowrimo except you write a script and it only has to be 20k words.
I'm supposedly doing it, but I haven't actually started yet.
Yeah - my mate Chris Baty emailed me personally to tell me about it.
20k? Sounds easy...
Will you post on here as you go, Dan? I'd like to have a read.

No, not here, scripts are too difficult to read and a long script would be torture (20k is still very long for a screenplay). I may find somewhere for it though.
"20k is still very long for a screenplay"
Pfffft. Whatever. Sounds like 2/5 of a nanowrimo to me whichever way you cut it.
Good luck. Be sure to post the link when you find a place.
Oooh, and I should mention - if you don't have Final Draft (or similar) and you want something like Final Draft (or similar) try Rough Draft - it costs free pounds and it's only a couple of steps down from software that costs loads of pounds.
