Would you like to see 3 plays for the bargain price of just £3?

Then come along to The London Theatre in New Cross on Saturday, 14 July 2012 from 7.30pm!

Tickets cost from £3 and can be purchased in advance by emailing the Gold Dust team. Please state how many tickets you require.
Please note: Due to the small size of the theatre, there will be very limited tickets available on the door.

The 3 plays will be the finalists in our playwriting competition, and will be interspersed with music from the fabulous Lily Brooke, along with poetry & prose readings.

The finalists will receive a public performance at The London Theatre (SE London), and the overall winner will be awarded a £100 prize and publication in Issue 22 of Gold Dust magazine.

The Gold Dust team will choose their favourite plays from all submissions to be finalists.
The finalist plays, which should be around 15 minutes long, will be performed by actors at a special Gold Dust event, 'Gold Dust Speaks', from 7pm-10.45pm on 14th July 2012 at The London Theatre in New Cross (100 yards from New Cross tube & BR), followed by the award of the prize. Tickets to 'Gold Dust Speaks' cost £3 and can be purchased on the door.

Vishni has worked, among others, at the Unicorn theatre, Central School of Speach & Drama, Clean Break theatre, Oval House Theatre, Kazzum Theatre, Lyric Theatre, and Half Moon Young People's Theatre

Emily Nightingale, playwright & arts educator

Emily has worked, among others, at Half Moon Young People's Theatre and Oval House Theatre

Entries will be judged on the script, not on the performance. If you wish, as an alternative, you may perform your script yourself, or with your own actors. Any props or costumes must be provided by yourself.
Entry is free of charge, and scripts should be submitted electronically to our prose editor David Gardiner to arrive before midnight on 31 May 2012.
