Launch of Lighthouse Magazine

The purpose of this message is to invite all members and their writing friends, to submit either a short story or a poem to a new magazine we will be launching toward the end of this year. The first issue should appear in December 2002.

This UK based magazine will feature quality writing and hold many competitions with good prizes, and should gain a reputation as a worthwhile worldwide vehicle for excellent stories and poems.

We are currently seeking submissions as follows:
Short stories – 1000 – 3000 words
Poetry – max 50 lines
Any genre is permitted.

A selection of the best writing will be published in the premier issue, and good stories and poetry carried over to later issues.

Out of those selected for publication, the best short story and poem will each win a prize. Prizes will be announced at a later date.

Please ensure that your full name, address and email appear on your entry, along with the word count. Submissions must be included in the text of your email. Emails with attachments will be deleted. Any questions, feel free to ask.
