I love this - I just love it:
Brooklands
So, so good. So McManaman. The idea is brilliant, coupled with a fabulous dead-pan delivery. I wouldn't mind seeing this expanded into a short story. Although it does work very well as a poem. Nah, maybe it's best as a poem - we fill in the blanks ourselves.

Thanks for reading, but mainly thanks to the new site, because I haven't written a poem for ages and now I've started again because I've always liked posting on ABC. I will think of you all next time I promote people into my list of friends.
