I think the ambivalence springs FROM your contentment Lisa. It's difficult to think of another word that fits but 'satisfaction' comes to mind...

Its been stuck in the back of my mind that it should be a word that begins with an 'A' as ambivalence does and I wonder if you were thinking of Acceptance, Lisa.

The word that stuck in mine began with 'c'. The words has completely escaped me. For now, I'll wait. It'll hit me round the head at some point, and I'll update the poem. Thanks though. Acceptance would work, maybe... I'll think about it. Cheers, Lisa

Hi, Lisa, one secret of poetry is to NOT repeat the title of the poem within the piece. I'd suggest that you call it 'Contentment' and dump the last line. Works better, huh?
