Approaching elections again, a timely and eloquent reminder of how decent people can feel alienated in their own country when it moves direction. Could it perhaps be longer and explore the issues more?

ty for the cherry - it was flagged a few days ago by nobody but it must have slipped off the page. I don't disagree that it is rather superficial in its dealing with the issue - but i was writing for a comp with limit of 600 words. Juliet
