wicked - gregory maguire

I just read this and thought it was, well, wicked - loved the idea (about the life and times of the wicked witch of the west, from the wizard of oz, from her birth to her fate at the hands of dorothy and co) and I thought that this modern, sinister and thought provoking reinvention of the kids classic worked really well.

Overall a fun, fantastical and fabulous read.
