Solid. My partner would rather watch Emmerdale or Corry! Life goes on as they say, but it wouldn't do to drive round the M25 and not be alert to it - oh on wait a minute, people do that as well...
I loved this poem. Revolution starts at home.
well done, cudo (a bit more subtle than my 'scum of the earth')

this has been flagged before hence lack of response though i think the whole site has gone on holiday, i'm scared on my own. But yes it is wonderfully done as all of CudoCudo's poems seem to be, a definite fan here. Juliet

thats ok, I am only learning how to- at the moment. Couldn't manage to work out how to- do the 'link' forthis poem. But I am keen to chat, though I tried the other day and made a monkey's ass of myself - oh well, thank god for the off button ;)
http://www.abctales.com/story/cudo-cudo/i-am-surprised-we-can-take-what-... I really liked your poem, Cudo. It's effective and to the point.
Im a fan too - liked the conversational feel, controlled well - tis a poem - liked the close of it.

I too am a fan of Cudo Cudo (flagged this one before myself). The sense of 'weight' in many of her (?) poems reverberates (like a heavy bell) for ages after reading them. I love the way many of them are addressed to 'you' but are full of things that that 'you' isn't directly told (we are told instead). And I love the apparently matter of fact titles which herald these mysterious and haunting moments/ thoughts. I wish I'd written them.
