I thought you might be interested in this from Simon Prosser at Penguin to one and all:

I thought you might be interested to see this website which Anya (Serota), Hari (Kunzru) and I put together as part of Liberty's urgent campaign against the proposed extension of detention without charge to 42 days.

We invited 42 writers to respond to the idea of 42 days without charge. Their responses range from statements to short stories and poems. To read the pieces, please visit www.42writers.com(link is external). And if you support the campaign, please do forward this link to anyone else you think might be interested. The more voices that are raised, the less likely this unjust law is to be passed.

We are free Brits. Britain is the home of freedom and democracy. This applies to all British people including Muslims, even fundamentalists, even terrorists. Thank God the Lords chucked out this crap.
