swimming fully clothed

I love to go swimming fully clothed for fun and as a hobie.
I do it regualer in th leeds and liverpool canal as i can not find a swimming poll in leeds that will let me do this.
But wounder wuold you let your kids go swimming fully clothed in thier shoes &socks on for fun.

howardtheduck There is nothing nothing intended in the question i am not wanting to harm any ones kids it is just some thing that i was woundering about. I can remeber the first time i whent swimming fully clothed i was about 15 yr old. I was on my way home from school I whent home vire the local park near to wher I lived it is called Middleton park in Leeds. I diceded to wade into the pond in my full clothe with my shoes & socks on. I got up to waist deep the diceded to start swimming. I enjoyed it so mutch that I now swim on a regual baises in my full clothe with my shoes & socks on my parents never knew at the time but they have an idear that i do it now & i just wounderd if any other parents would let thier kids go swimming fully clothed with thier shoes & socks on if they new that this was how thier kids wanted to swim.

I sense that you're not much older now. you realize this is pretty silly right. you can but its ridiculous so why would you want to. I wouldn't want my kids playing in water with their clothes on except for swimwear. I probably should even answer this because its that ridiculous, but since you then posted yet another forum after you didn't get any answers tell me maybe I should give you an answer. I suppose you can use the forums to ask any silly question that comes into your head, but come up with something more interesting. I think you already know the answer to this question. you can tell that no one else is jumping into the water with their clothes on. and maybe you should talk to your parents about this little habit you've developed.

howardtheduck Iam 44yrs old now I see nothing wrog in swimming fully clothed or been able to swim fully clothed. I personaly do not think it is silly far frm it in fact i think it is a good thing to be able to do. When you think about it how many kids drowned each yr notnesarserlybecous they can not swim whenthey fall into the water but becouse they are fully clothed and they panic as they may be do not now how to swim fully clothed so i ask what would be wrong with them practising swimming fully clothed even if it just for fun? It might just help to save thier life or some one else live one day.

The things people do! It is true that as part of a life saving course you do learn to swim fully clothed. I used to be a cox (in my far slimmer youth!) and we had to prove that we could swim 200 yards in full clothing before we were allowed out on the river. All of that is very sensible but I do find it difficult how someone could enjoy swimming with all their clothes on. Naked I understand - fully clothed is just plain odd.

howardtheduck Yes you may think it is od but i love the feel of wet clothe while am swimming. I find it odd that some one would swim naked but fully clothed if think it is fun YOU are taking more fo a risk and it is challangeing to swim fully clothed.
