I like this - it's just quiet and sentimental with none of angst that so often goes with 'love lost' pieces. It's short and well observed - excellent:

this is a real tale of modern loving, some of the description is excellent 'knocked senseless by her profile' 'He was her comfort and her warmth, at a brief point inbetween her confusion and her clarity' I agree its not yucky and overly sentimental - people can just walk away from a relationship and be better for it.
