The backdrop of screams, shouts and scuffles reminded me of bad times but the overall effect was to leave me smiling.
If he hadn't skinned up he would probably only have managed a shop front (instead of a froint :o)

I like this also! The 'Humorous Dramatising of the Mundane' style appeals... Fave line = 'There was some more to-ing and fro-ing' - luv the vagueness! Another typo, though: 'expensice'... Other than that, good stuff! "P"

If it's any consolation, I almost spelt 'typo' wrong when pointing out the other typo... which would've been enormously embarassing!
