Birdsong
On telly tonight. Am I the only person who thinks the book is massively over-rated? It's just another mud and misery memoir. Christ, we've all been to Glastonbury.
I don't do scoring points. Yes, I had family.
Loved the book, film was shallow and vacuous but looked incredible.
Stan (I am still going on about your brilliant reading) my idea of attending a festival is one which I can visit for a weekend whilst staying in a B and B and in which I can see Joy Division, The Doors, Miles Davis and Squeeze. No shouty druggie people, no rain, a nice place to stand right by the stage but with no-one elbowing or pushing (no-one standing anywhere near me actually.
To be honest, a nice armchair would help.
And my own toilet.
And being asked on stage to sing with Ian Curtis or Jim Morrison would be nice (don's mind which).
So if that become's an option Stan I'll get us both a ticket.
