can u enlighten me: King or Nan?

i read The Speed Queen, by one ' Stuart Nan', or O'Nan.
It's about 3 burger/fries-loving yanks who shoot people, and end up shot or executed themselves.
The narrator "speaks" onto a tape, supposedly for Stephen King (awful bestseller machine) . The book is litterally littered with references to nearly every one of Mister K's books, and many of the characters therein.

I was wondering, if anyone knows if this is simply a blatant advert for K's books, disguised as a "book" and written by stephen king himself. It is, I might add, extremely crap, indicating it could be him...

Incidentally, the blurbattheback says "This will be a cult classic." Please don't read it.
