Halfway done with Animal (my 1st novel) yay!
Hey, just swinging by to tell ya'll that I've just finished posting the halfway point of my novel Animal. I'd like to thank Tony, Sooz, and anyone else who bothered to read it and give their comments and thoughts. I have ch 11 and 12 typed already and am editing. I hope to finish before my junior year in high school. Thanks again and if you haven't had the chance to read do check it out.

And very good it is too. If this is halfway then it feels like the ending is fast approaching. It's a classic Western tale with all of the cliches of the Western in there - but it's very alive and pretty well written (a few tense problems along the way that need sorting!) This is an inspiring first novel from a very young man and he deserves all the support and suggestions you can give him. I strongly suspect that Mike is going to be a very good writer indeed and it would be wonderful if we could be a part of his progression.

I agree, tcook, I agree. 'Animal' is a great read, and should be commented on and read. I suspect Mike will become a great writer too, what with his power to draw the readers in.
