June writing retreat in France

Hi all.

Just wanted to let you know about a writing retreat with Jan Fortune-Wood that I've organised in the south of France for the week 19-26 June.

Basically, Jan (Cinnamon Press founder and editor as well as a published writer/poet in her own right) will be tutoring a week of creative writing workshops and mentoring a small group of writers in the mountains of the south of France (the Cevennes mountains).

The workshops will focus on making your writing come to life, whether you are working on fiction or poetry. They will explore starting points, imagery and structure and ways of bringing precision and vividness to your language.

The venue is Gardoussel Retreat,about 1 1/2 hours north of Nimes in the Languedoc-Roussillon region (Ryanair flies from Luton and Liverpool into Nimes or you can get the Eurostar/TGV down).

The cost is £580 all-inclusive (accommodation, all meals and tuition).
