Service Provider Recommendations (broadband)

At last! A cheque is on its way, I've given 1 months written notice and thats it! I'll be free of the shitness that is NTL freedombroadband.

Thing is; i've been with them for so many years that I've not kept up with other services, offers, etc. My question is: Could anyone recommend a service provider? I would like approx 3.0mbps, to pay roughly £24.00 a month (or less) and - this is the easy bit - they have to be more impressive than ntl.
