Talented Bird

Everyday now, at some point whilst I'm in the garden, I hear a bird singing the 'Laurel and Hardy' theme tune. Everytime I hear it it brings a smile to my face.

Does anyone know whether there's a specific bird that specialises in the Laurel and Hardy theme tune?

And my other question: who inpsired who?

Um, it's probably a blackbird. They're expert mimics. I've heard tell that some of them have started chirping like ringtones. Now, if I heard a blackbird singing something, say, from Metallica, I'd be *really* impressed...
