I never comment on writing here, but this is really so exceptional. I identified with it on many levels, read it four times whispering yes throughout and was sorry to see it end. Huge courage and skill, congratulations and thanks spack

But (and I mean no offence, this is where all my stuff is) what is it doing on ABC, surely someone will publish stuff like this? If not I think I'll give up all together. Great stuff.

Joe has secured a major publishing deal with Hamish Hamilton for his first novel, Submarine, which is out in the Spring. He has very graciously agreed to give some credit to ABCtales for the development of his writing - although clearly there are other influences at work as well including his own raw and wonderful talent and his UEA course and much else besides. But it does go to show that if you use ABCtales well, as he has over the past six plus years, it will help you to hone your skills.
