Oh I doubt many people will care but my school is having a talent show and I'm just excited me and my friends got in. I'm actually surprised we were able. We are acting out a small 10 min show of Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.
We cut out the cursing, flashbacks, ear song, and unnecessary dialogue. My best friend will play Mr. White. I'm leading the direction of the play. I also sing "Stuck in the middle with you., and I play Mr. Orange. So for nearly all of the play I'll be dressed in a punch stained white shirt (for the blood) while passed out or screaming in pain. Anyone who hasn't seen the movie should. There's gonna be a lot of work. I can't wait.

'Stuck in the Middle With You' is originally by Stealer's Wheel. The lead singer (and possibly the writer of the song) is Gerry Rafferty. He was once one of the well known Scottish folk duo, the Humblebums. The other one was Billy Connolly. Just thought I'd tell you that so that you can sing it in a Scottish accent and swear a lot.

And the bass player was Delisle Harper of The Gass (sort of fame.) He went on from The Gass to join Stone The Crows - or Maggie Bell. I first saw The Gass as a 17yr old neophyte in 1963. See my 'Me, Bo a Duchess and The Flamingo.' Lisle is now selling clothes in Camden Market, or was the last time I saw him. And happy doing it, and playing here and there. A lovely fella and a damned fine bass player. Listen to the fluidity on Stuck In The Middle With You. Mmmmmmm!

And dare I say - I played with him - for about 5 minutes. We were mucking about after a gig, playing some intricate Al Jackson Jr. (Booker T and the MGs) lick. I've become a sad old fart haven't I? Don't care.

Well we did it today. Wow that was...odd. I think we freaked a few people out. Some people even cried. Sucks that we all end up dying in the play. My best friend kills me. Yeah we won the freshman category. We didn't get a thing but we all have title of weirdest kids in school. I bear it proudly. While I was up my blood sugar was low. Going low in my sugar feels like bleeding to death. We messed up a few times. Like when I shot mr blonde, my friend stumbled off the stage and into the audience. It was hilarious.
