Where have all the cherries gone?

Recently Added is looking a little bare.
I can't keep sticking little cherry stickers on the screen - if I scroll it becomes a nonsense.

Perhaps the pickers are being picky! I'm not feeling too good right now as T mobile have the most f******* abysmal hold music I'm being subjected to

I'm being assaulted from all sides by s-club 7

anyone heard anything about the talktalk free broadband offer?
I don't know anything about the talk-talk offer trying to upgrade to the web'n'walk unlimited mobile internet package with graphite MDS compact handset and they only have it in stock in pink... I like pink...but not all the time jude visit my boring website http://www.judesworld.net

Oooh well done, BBF. Right... Where have all the George Clooney look alikes in the Brighton area gone? *sits back and waits for knock on door*
Spoil sport.
How are these cherries chosen? Is it a joint decision? Does a prospective piece go before the Board of Cherries? Or do the editors work individually, and on a whim? Have you ever got a cherry, and wondered why?
Editors have free reign to select pieces they enjoyed - stood out - writers who have improved. It doesn't need seconding. At the end of the day it is a helpful tool for readers and writers AND JUST A BIT OF LIGHT ENCOURAGEMENT - perhaps not to be taken too seriously there's no huge cash award and the only thing ever at stake are egos (mine included - guilty) Having an editorial team makes ABC shine out above all the other writing sites online so we should be very thankful! But yes, I have got a cherry and wondered why as the piece hasn't matched in my opinion, non-cherried pieces. But it is an interesting phenomena and helps my reality check!

The cherries aren't coming my way that's for sure. My mojo obviously isn't working. If you want to buy my book, visit my blog: http://whatisthisstrangeplace.blogspot.com/
The Talk Talk BB offer is like all the others, it's only free for 3 or 6 months then you have to pay. I believe you have to sign up to a £20 a month phone deal to get it anyway, and you still need a BT line. If you make lots of national calls it's probably worth it, otherwise Carphone Warehouse are wheeling out a better deal soon, or so they say!

huh, it seems i got THAT all wrong, it appears the talk talk offer IS Carphone Warehouse! They're all greedy sods anyway, just like the phone companies.

They've gone again, dem cherries. And Story/Poem of the week.
You gotta sympathise with the eds. They're all doing it on a volunteer basis, and some of the prose is very long. It would take me forever to get through.
Some of the prose -is- very long; also, there are certain culprits who haven't yet read the 'tips' segment which suggests submitting three or less entries per day. Due to the backlog, I'd actually prefer it if it were maybe three a week per author, but this is just my own personal bugaboo. Cherrypicking is entirely subjective, and although we are trying to cover all bases as far as styles and talents are concerned, I must admit that if a piece is rather longer, I tend to not read with as much attention unless it's particularly gripping. Blame it on too much coffee and a short attention span...
Yeah They have dissapeared, but hey, I can't complain. I've got one a week ago, and another a few weeks before that (It's a big deal for me. I gotta brag. Besides, it mean less competiotion) :) Now I'm up to 3 cherries! Hee Hee. Too bad I've already put up like 45 pieces... :(

Give me the beat boys and free my soul! I wanna getta lost in ya rock n' roll and drift away. Drift away...
