Queen of Her Savannah by margharita

This is the beautifully told story of this woman's cat. It's soppy and maudlin and it brought tears to my cynical old eyes. If you have a cat then read this and weep:

oh,....so well written - i think i will miss her too,,,

Margharita, I'm sorry for your loss. Grief over a pet's death can be very difficult because many people don't see it as a 'real' loss. Plum sounds like she was a lovely cat and I'm sure the years she spent with such a warm, affectionate family were well-appreciated.
Oh this is really lovely. Very evocative, and written as elegantly as Plum is described.
Thanks so much for your comments. I am really thrilled to find this one Cherry Picked, as it was very special to write. A little tribute to Plum. Margharita
Loosing a pet is bad; personally i thought loosing my dog the worst thing ever. I agree that a lot of people say "it was just a dog" or "you can get another cat", but you can never replace them. Great description and emotion.
