What is the best time to post on this site?
I'm new here so I wanted to know when, in your opinion, there is the most traffic on ABCtales. Do you think it's early morning or late evening? Thank you!

I'm not sure when is best. At a recent ABC evening Tony said that the most "Reads" come between 4.30 and 5.00pm ( I think), as people are waiting to go home from work and at lunchtimes. But thats "reads" and not posting. Personally I just post when I can, works for me.

It's a good question but I'm not sure I've ever noticed a pattern. Sometimes I post and get loads of reads and sometimes it seems to just fall flat. You could be a little unfortunate if loads of people post loads of stuff just after you so you get pushed down the latest stories chart.

well I noticed that a lot of people tend to be here early in the morning. I'm going to try the 4:30 to 5:00 and see how that works

That's Monday to Friday UK time! We have mini peaks around lunchtime as well.

Well it is something that I have pondered.
I post at the most shitest of times; because of various reasons. One reason is that when I am happy with what I have written I post it.
Now without being silly for a second. The thing that I respect above all else about ABCtales (apart form the great writers/reading) is the consistency of the eds'. I don't always agree with their stinginess but I have come to see that they are consistent and rigorous.
If something has been written that is 'good' it almost invariably gets recognition. That is the strength of the site. So I suppose I'm saying chill out, post good stuff and the reads and the life giving comments will follow.

I really like your advice. The only reason I was asking is because I was reading and article about the best time to post on social networks. And I was curious to know, how different this would be
