Rated Writting

Hi all,

I have been reading some fantastic writting in ABCtales, and wanted a way in which to show my appreciation for it, this seems the quickiest. Pls feel free to rate others!!

Absolutly loved it, especially the ending, great!

Again, amazing writer, amazing stuff, very strong ending.

Short, simple, stunning. Thank you for something so beautiful

Brighton Rock: "Nocturn" 10/10
Again, simple and beautiful. Love the way your poetry is constructed.

I think I have just become a fan!

Jake Cade "Sex in the Afternoon" 10/10
Loved it! Strong, angry, emotional: I like all of those things.

Spack: "You don't know what she wants" 10/10
not sure what to say about it really...left me speechless.

Soraia, blimey! Thanks for your kind words about my poetry, they are truly appreciated. I have only started doing poetry recently and have enjoyed the writing, but, as always, you never know if anyone else will make a connection with them. I've written loads more (just this week), so keep reading. Thanks again, you can be my fan anytime. Tim
Thanks Soaraia! Glad you enjoyed it. That was a slightly experimental one for me so I'm pleased it was noticed. Joe

Hey Soraia, thank you so much for that. Those recent bits are most certainly 'experimental' for me, it's not really my kind of thing, but i enjoyed writing them (masochist that I am). As you know, I love your writing too. I'm flattered (and punching above my weight) to be included in the same bracket as those you've also flagged up, but it's kind of you nonetheless. Thanks again Ben
Andy: "chicken drummers'. 10/10 I have no idea if I like it or not. I'm giving it 10 out of 10 because I have been thiking about it for the past half hour and that is always a good sign...I think I might like it.
There always has been a rating system on here - and the new one will be added shortly! It's just one of the numerous improvements we are working on. thanks for your involvement.
Nicoletta skydolphin : "The Pencil" 10/10 I really, really, like this one, I love it's simplicity and innocence. http://www.abctales.com/nicoletta_skydolphin/sharpenqueen
Soraia, thank you for reading and I am glad you liked The pencil Nicoletta
Mark Brown: "Extracts" 15/10 I loved it. For so many resons... 1st: Because I have been there so many times, the inability to show or express my pain. I have tried many times to write about this feeling, because it is a feeling in itself, a feeling of not being able to say how you feel. I haven't manage to write it. You did, I saw it there, all my feelings there, all my inability, all my own self imprisonment. 2nd: It made me cry. Thank you. 3rd: For your bravery. For writtingsomething that means something, anything, for writting something of value, that anyone can reach. For all, those and so many more, I have blown my own scale. Thank you. Soraia
Sorry here is the link, for this beautiful piece of writting: Mark Brown: "Extracts" http://www.abctales.com/node/526968
Ooer Soraia that is a very very good one - it had clearly slipped underneath the cherry radar at some point in time. Just as it's from our Editor doesn't mean he can't have a cherry!
e1978f: "Many small red bubbles of foam" 10/10 deep and sinister:enchanting. http://www.abctales.com/node/509120
Soraia, thanks for the kind words about 'Extracts'. It's literally that, extracts from the pile of stuff I was writing at the time. Once upon a time, I used to write too. Now I just run this place! It was responses from people like you who read other peoples writing at ABCtales that really helped me to get my act together and start to get stuff sorted out. That's why I believe so strongly in ABCtales and what we're trying to do. Communication through writing and interaction through this site really can make wonderful things happen, because writing is really all about communication. I didn't think any one would ever read my stuff again! Cheers, Mark Brown, Editor, www.ABCtales.com
