Cat poems by silver spun and Jack Cade
two wonderful cat poems from two very different poets - i like them both for the sheer enjoyment of cats of they both clearly convey.

Yes - they were very different, weren't they? As different as cats can be I guess - a bit like people! Thanks for your kind comments Juliet and for taking the trouble to flag my Chessie! ty SSS
I get the feeling that I'd want to cuddle SSS's cat but Jack's has ringworm
Both fab poems though

I really like Jacks poem, images of my sister's Siamese immediately sprang to mind from the images and sounds I got from the poem, 'real' really is the only word they say...deserving of its cherry (and a few extra cat treats for Leelu.)
Yep- I think you would want to cuddle my cat! Picture, if you will, a breeze-block on short, stumpy legs - but apart from that, she's an adorable black and white bundle of fluff and she really does smell sweet, as in Ambrosian Sunset - most of the time. Except, that is, when she rolls in fox-pooh! Yuk!
