The Bull Above The Village.

Poems 2000-2008

The Bull above the Village

All through The hot afternoon You lay still,

Afterwards

Empty in the hot afternoon The room captured a silence That framed all of eternity,

Lines for an Exit

Nobody saw him leave He was just one grey shadow, Falling behind a larger crowd

Wind

Turning inland From the sea Passing

War Moment.

A poem written around the time of the 2003 invasion of Iraq
