A Depressing Story By a Depressed Girl

I'm trying to write a novel and this would be it. The title I'm working on but this would be the book. Feedback would be AMAZING!

The story opens up with Jennifer(J) relapsing. She has depression and is a self-harmer. She also has anxiety and a bad relationship with her mother. Her best friend is Nelson(Nel) who happens to be gay. Nel and J have known each other since kindergarten. Nel also has depression and self harms the only difference is, he went to his parents for help. He is now getting help while J is still refusing.

So far I don't think there will be a teen love because I want to focus it on self harm awareness and depression and anxiety and such. I want it to be a good read but also educate.
