Party Season
Spring is here and festival season approaches, which can only mean one thing – time to throw cream pies at my partner.
Mrs Oblong is Party Leader of the UK Pie Party, a Community Interest Company which raises money for designated cancer charities through by running stalls and ‘Misrule Ceremonies’ at events and festivals.
The UK Pie Party has already secured a spot at the following events:
- 7 May - Music Marathon, Golden Hind, Cambridge
- 22 May - The Cambridge Cancer Help Centre's Family Fun Day
- 4 June - Strawberry Fair, Cambridge
- 18 June - Pets in the Park, Cambridge
- 2 July - Bury Folk Festival, Suffolk
- 16 July - Codicote Village Day, Hertfordshire
- 17 July - Parklife, Milton Country Park, Cambridge
- 5, 6, 7 August - Halesworth Big Gig, Suffolk
- 28 August - Cleethorpes Charity Fun Weekend in aid of Cancer Research, Lincolnshire
- 2, 3, 4 September - Maui Waui Festival, Suffolk
Get along to one of the above events if you can, you may, if you’re lucky, get to throw a pie at Mrs Oblong, myself or even The Other Terrence Oblong, in return for a small donation to charity.
