Grimm Truths

(Image from Wikimedia Commons - in public domain) A re-imagining of "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", set within the music industry and the world of rock 'n' roll. A small-time band, stuck playing gigs in their local pub, longs for success and to avoid the baliffs. They think their wish has been granted when they meet a young musician with amazing talent. But when this new band member doesn't get the credit he deserves, he takes matters into his own hands... Contains minor hints of violence - not suitable for very young readers.

A poetic retelling of "Cinderella". Mike, the Magic Godfather - husband of the more famous Fairy Godmother - appears to help our forlorn heroine. After giving her the essentials that any future princess needs, he decides that HE's going to go to the Ball, too, and have himself a good time... Contains references to alcohol and some very minor cursing.
