That Harrowing 7/7 Telephone Call

This is a transcript of someone phoning the emergency services on July 7 this year.
"Yeh, there's people lying in the road. There's people trying to get out. I think there's ambulances on the way, but there's people dead."
That's: 'There is people lying in the road. There is people trying to get out. I think there is ambulances on the way. There is people dead.'

Greetings all

In for routine checks.

Got my own room, sky TV and Internet (although you do have to pay for it) and a lovely view of London.

Long time, no see!

So I haven't logged into ABCTales for so long that the entire site's been redesigned! It looks very nice. I'm back because I'm getting geared up to apply for an MFA in creative writing program for the fall of 2006. Application deadlines are this February, and I need to polish up my work and write some sultry, passionate entrance essays to wow the admissions staff... gosh, I'm so nervous.

Anyway, hello again, and wish me luck!

ABCTales Hokey Cokey

Try your best to log-in, you get logged out
In out, in out, it shakes you all about
You hate the Hokey Cokey, smash keyboard to the ground
That's what it's all about
Whoa-o ABCTales
Whoa-o ABCFails
Whoa-o its users wail
Knees bent, arms stretched
Grr grr grr

To your Borders!

If anyone's interested, I have a short piece in Aesthetica this month, which has been relaunched as a glossy. You might find it more interesting for the article on the 'Stuckist movement' in art, and some of the other poems in it. They're.... err... well. Judge for yourselves.

Also, Chant has two poems in The Rialto, both excellent.

Both mags are available in Borders.
