this is the end of the main book, though there is an epilogue of probaby 2 or 3 chapters, yet to be written. I'm going to go back to the beginning and start the rewrite now. it's been fun writing this, I still like it and I hope some people out there did too

I am not trying to please everybody, as you say, that's a fool's errand but I am interested in knowing how people view it (literally)
I find reading and writing prose like this incredibly natural but it is the sort of thing that is beaten...
