I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.
My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .
I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

These surreal pieces are becoming a niche for you, Jane. It's the kind of story I wish I could write now and again. Imaginative, humorous and clever. Just so well done. Paul :)

I read both parts. You have such a distinctive voice, Ewan. I could hear you reading this and doing the accents. I enjoyed this noting the underlying irony.

The reference to the Reverend Ian Paisley made me laugh too. I can just see him talking now in that stark, norn iron accent. This is almost Edgar Allan Poe-esque in its telling of a tale within a poem. Entertaining, of course. Paul :)
