WEEKENDER BENDER

George left work early one Friday
And went out with the lads, on a bender
He finally got home to his unhappy wife
On Sunday night after a boozy weekender
After hours of bitching and moaning

MIDDLE AGED WISDOM part 2

THE WISDOM OF MY MIDDLE YEARS # 5

No matter what happens,
I’m at peace as I now know
It doesn’t matter how bad it seems today
It doesn’t matter what the pain or sorrow
Life does go on,

How Do I Win You Without Losing Me?

So I will just move on and leave you here
So sad it will hold me back for years
Another mark another score in our black book
So say goodbye while smiling through the tears.

Feeding Frenzy

How many more will

Fat Girl Walking

Why fat chicks such as myself are wholly despised by patrons of public transportation.

Do Go Gentle

Be glad you laughed
Be glad you loved...

BILLY THE KID

I care about these things,

Auntie Florrie

It is too nice a day to be living in England.

(This poem is an homage to two amazing David Berman poems: "Now II" and "Charm of 5:30")

  Day 25

the most horrible thing imaginable had happened

Salat al-Janaza, father it should be you

To Lovely lumps with love, giza

Dirty knickers
Heart shaped stickers

You accept me as I am

Don't call me names

When I told you -
I could see you looking at me,
Scanning my face for 'evidence'
As if my illness can be seen.

Crazy Liza

Emmental!
With crackers.
Knickers, knockers and your knackers.

Are you leaving myself?
